Assam enjoys perfect conditions for tea growing with up to 30cm of rain falling in one day and temperatures rising to 100c making the conditions like a greenhouse. Tea is indigenous to Assam in India, making this one of the world's oldest types of tea.  It is a large-leaf grown without pesticides or fertiliser, orthodox processed tea with lots of the highly sought after tips.

When brewed there is an amber liquor with a rich full malty flavour with spicy, fruity and cocoa notes which is what you'd expect from one of India's finest teas. (TGFOP Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe)  

Brew at 90c for a 3 minute infusion for best results.
