Colombia Esperanza Entreverdes - Coffee Beans

Medium Roast

almonds, berries, chocolate

Owned by the Herrera Family, La Esperanza is a group of coffee farms in El Valle del Cauca and Cundinamarca and enjoys rich volcanic soils due to the elevated location.

The Entreverdes coffee beans have a delicious pecan, vanilla and cherry aroma with a rich and silky mouthfeel.  It has a pineapple sweet acidity and chocolate and hazelnut flavours.

Caturra is a mutation of the bourbon variety of coffee, found near the town of Caturra - Brazil, in the 1930s. It produces a higher yield than Bourbon coffee beans and this is generally due to the plant being shorter, higher yielding, and with less distance between the branches. A relatively recently selected botanical variety of the Coffea arabica species that generally matures more quickly, produces more coffee, and is more disease resistant than older, traditional arabica varieties.
