fresh, champagne, cherryThis coffee has been grown in the Kayanza area of Burundi by smallholder farmers. The plants have been cultivated at 1600-1900 m and are Red Bourbon varietal. Once harvested the cherries are taken for wet pulping and washing to the Mpanga washing station. The coffee is medium roasted and well balanced with floral and citrus notes reminiscent of champagne. It has a slight cherry sweetness and gentle grapefruit acidity.
