Uganda Rwenzori Kalingwe coffee offers a bold, juicy body with delicate fruit-forward notes, including honey sweetness, ripe strawberry, and peach. Grown at high altitudes in the Rwenzori Mountains, it is naturally processed and hand-picked, resulting in a consistently high-quality cup. The coffee is produced by a community of smallholder farmers who have improved quality and yields through training and support. It also supports long-term growth within the community through financial independence initiatives and environmental sustainability efforts.

"When I opened the pack, I was in love with the aroma. Smells like blackcurrant chocolate to me. It’s making my mouth water. Amazing"
"I like this coffee; a rounded taste, with a slight bitter edge, which I like. I have visited, some years ago, the Rwenzori area of Uganda. In the family I was staying with, the lady grew coffee beans, along with several other kinds of beans, in her farming area. She said that the beans had to be sent to Kenya, as there was no way of processing them in Uganda. I am pleased that things have changed for the better."
"Delicious!"
"Espresso: Fruity without being too bright. Cappuccino: mellow sweet fruitiness that lingers. One of the nicest coffees I have had in a few years. Very much to my taste. I keep going back for more. 11 days after roasting. Very easy to dial in the grind. First time trying this roaster and very much looking forward to the several other bags of different beans purchased to try out. Setup: La Pavoni Europiccola (post millenium), Eureka Mignon."
"After doing some mortar work on an old greenhouse base I received the gift of a Delonghi Coffee Machine. So the search for a good coffee began, had heard about the Bean Shop and the fact they offer mail oder gives me options as I live on an island. Purchased the first bag of beans and thought the coffee was okay. But it started to grow on me, this is now my regular drink, absolutely love it."
"We buy this bean on a regular basis, not an every day brew but a once a week sort of coffee that tastes significantly different to our usual choices. Thank you Bean Shop for quick delivery and a well chosen and roasted bean"
"I like it very much. Could be becoming my favourite first choice."
"I’ve only been doing pour over coffee for a few months. But hands down, this is the best coffee I have tried with this brew method to date. 185 copper Tsubame and these beans were best friends!"
"Wow! The taste of these Uganda Rwenzori been are awesome. Had to order another batch to make sure I get enough supply! The taste is unique and hits the spot ! Will this bean be kept on sale as a permanent basis? Yes please"
